    Dr Joanna East

    Veterinary Surgeon

    MRCVS

    Jo qualified in 2010 and has lived and worked in Surrey for the past 8 years. Before that she worked with the PDSA in Manchester.
    Jo enjoys walking in the local countryside with her family, and when she gets chance she likes peace and quiet with a green tea and chocolate muffin.

    Dr Kathryn Wach

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVSc MRCVS

    Kathryn has been a vet since 2019 and previously worked in practices in Bristol and briefly based in Austria. Kathryn is interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine and when not at work enjoys countryside walks with her young family.

    Practice Manager

    Beth started nursing in 2000 and joined the Alfold Vets team in 2009. In 2021, she became the Practice Manager. She and her husband have three teenage children and a large, daft dog called Roxy. She enjoys spending time with her family and wild swimming in her spare time.

    Helen Gaines

    Nursing Manager

    CertAVN, RVN, CCBW Dip(Hydro)

    Helen has been nursing since 1998 and joined Alfold Vets in 2016. She is a qualified small animal hydrotherapist with certificates in veterinary dentistry, physiotherapy and canine bodywork. She has just completed her Graduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Anaesthesia and Analgesia) with the Royal Veterinary College. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, mountain biking and walking her dogs, Daisy, Ollie & Ted.

    Yvette Breacher

    Veterinary Nurse

    Yvette worked in a referral practice before joining our team in 2009. She has a particular interest in anaesthesia and exotics and is also studying for her Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Clinical Nursing and Client Support) through Hartbury University. She lives in Surrey with her two young boys, their Bearded dragon, guinea pigs and tortoise. Outside work, she enjoys tending to her garden, walking with her family and occasional rock climbing.

    Robyn Reed

    Veterinary Nurse

    RVN

    Robyn joined Alfold Vets in 2021, having previously worked at an orthopaedic and neurology referral practice for many years. She has a keen interest in radiology, nursing in- patients and puppy care. She also has a big soft spot for dachshunds and staffies. Robyn is mum to her little boy Lex, and in her spare time, she volunteers as a guide leader, takes photographs of pets and wildlife and walks her dog, Penny.

    Emily Lawler

    Student Veterinary Nurse

    Emily has been an animal lover all her life working in animal rescue and running her own pet care business. She has been working as an animal care assistant at Anderson Abercromby Referrals, having previously worked with autistic children. In her in her own time she loves spending time with her family, pets, horse riding and DIY!

    Heidi Lang

    Receptionist

    Heidi has been working as a Vet Receptionist since 2022. Prior to that she had a long career in marketing and events, and has more recently been taking care of her family which now includes two young springer spaniels. She also volunteers at the Citizens Advice Bureau, and has a particular interest in sustainability.

    Jane Brancati

    Receptionist

    Jane joined us in February 2026 as as part of the reception team. She has a degree in English and US literature and previously worked in Health Care communications and advertising. Jane lives locally with her children and cat, in her spare time she enjoys running, Cross Fit and Hyrox.
